OIL TANK REMOVAL & DISPOSAL

Buried oil tanks raise increasing environmental, safety, legal and economic concerns for home owners and home buyers because oil leaks underground can lead to both environmental damage and costly cleanup operations.

Many tanks consist of iron-based metals that become compromised by corrosion. Corrosion eventually creates holes in the tank that cause petroleum to leak into the environment. Storage tank removal consists of pumping out the tank, a comprehensive cleaning, a thorough inspection, and excavation. Upon extraction, the surrounding soil must be appropriately screened for contamination. Next, all piping is evaluated and subsequently removed, capped off, or left in place. Excavations are then filled in with soil and restored. All removed tank contents, piping, and debris are properly disposed of.

Disposal

When replacing or removing a tank, it must be pumped out and the remaining products must be disposed of properly. Our tank pump-out services include the removal of used waste oil, and water and transfer of remaining products.

Our Pledge

We provide reasonable prices for removing your in-ground tanks. We can remove your in-ground tank and even install a new tank indoors all within the same day. We are your one stop place for removing your old oil tank and installing a brand new one.

Been using Yankee oil for over 15 years. Long term employees, stable and consistent service. Always a fair market price, but what separates from most is service - they take care of their customers. Responsive, considerate, professional, trustworthy... and go above and beyond. The bad review just placed by my tenant, was yankee simply honoring my request that any service calls are vetted and placed through me. Tania, owen, David, and the team at Yankee are industry veterans, and im not alone in stating Yankee is a safe and best choice.

Yankee just installed a new boiler and hot water tank, and we could not be happier. Their prices were reasonable and the quality of the installation is top notch. Only ball valves, and lots of them to isolate any potential trouble area. Individual high efficiency circulator pumps for each zone, instead of zone valves that don't regulate flow well. Wiring and plumbing is neat and well organized, the system was made as compact as possible to free up space. They take care of any energize CT refunds available. Their techs are well trained, and have the best equipment for tuning and checking efficiency. They take care of the permits, and the replacement went fast, and they left everything very clean.Above and beyond, these guys earned every star!
